About the position

As a project manager in the Construction section, you will be part of our program organization and work on projects related to transmission lines. In this role, you will represent Svenska kraftnät as the client and have a central function in planning, monitoring, and driving projects based on time, cost, and results.

During the contract and construction phase, you will lead the project team and coordinate work between internal functions and contracted contractors. You will monitor implementation, ensure that project frameworks are followed, and contribute to creating conditions for structured and efficient project work.

You will belong to the Transmission Projects department, either the Northern or Southern construction unit.

About you

Requirements:

We are looking for a project manager with experience in larger construction and infrastructure projects in the contract phase. The role requires you to independently lead and follow up on your own areas of responsibility, make decisions, and drive work forward in close collaboration with project members, consultants, and contractors. You are structured and stable, collaborative, and have the ability to find solutions in complex project environments.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a university degree in areas such as civil engineering, infrastructure, electrical power, or a relevant field, or you have equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the authority.

You also have experience in:

• Several years of work experience in contract law and standard contracts in the construction industry (e.g., ABT, AB)
• At least five years of project management experience in large/complex projects within infrastructure or construction
• Driving license B
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Knowledge of AMA and/or similar industry standards

It is an advantage if you have:

• Specific industry experience in overhead line projects
• Worked as a project manager within or towards the public sector
• Worked as a representative in the contract phase
• Project management training, such as PMI/IPMA or similar

Good to know

• The position is located in the Northern construction unit in Sundbyberg, Luleå, or Sundsvall. For the Southern construction unit, the position is located in Sundbyberg
• Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
• Domestic travel may occur in this position
